Information for Parents

It is time for your son or daughter to decide on the next step of their learning journey. At Darlington College we are passionate about our students choosing a qualification that will lead on to a successful career, university or apprenticeship.

Parents’ Evenings

We keep in regular contact with parents and invite you in for discussions as and when required.  A formal parents’ evening is held in March every year, where you will get the opportunity to meet tutors teaching your son/daughter and ask any questions you may have.  You will also receive a report to give you an overview of your son or daughter’s progress.

Wellbeing and Safeguarding

We take the wellbeing and safety of our students very seriously.  We strive to ensure a safe and welcoming environment in college, and have safeguarding and anti-bullying policies in place to ensure our young people and vulnerable adults studying with us, do so in a safe and secure environment.

You can view these policies by visiting our safeguarding page by clicking HERE
