Enjoy a lunch fit for a banquet created by the winners of the Aspiring Chef of the Year 2019.
Experience a four course lunch created by the most aspirational chefs in the North East and get the chance to vote for your favourite dish to crown one of the chefs the ‘Champion of Champions!’
The opportunity to showcase the winning dishes at this special lunch will be the prize for the Aspiring Chef of the Year 2019 competition, which takes place in December. Contestants will produce a three course lunch menu to be inspired by the North East of England using local produce.
The participants will be catering students from Darlington College – the starter will be created by those studying Level 2 Professional Cookery, Level 3 students will design the main course while Level 2 and Level 3 Patisseries and Confectionary students will take care of the dessert.

The competition is a bid to help nurture young catering talent which Rockliffe Hall is passionate about.
The lunch is part of the Festival of Food taking place at Rockliffe Hall in February 2019.
