What part of the course did you enjoy most?
I enjoyed the outdoor trips i.e. hiking and camping
Did you course help you in achieving your current role?
I believe that the course helped me with my fitness before selection and having ex service members as tutors helped gather background information also theirs no doubt that just having the qualification on my cv helps with interviews etc.
What advice would you give to someone just starting a Public Services course now?
My advice would be don’t fight the system as the people teaching and visiting know more about the subject matter than you also you get out what you put in i.e. with progression on to lvl3 and to a university degree as this opens up better opportunities and pay brackets than the entry standard qualification that most people who are competing for your role will likely have anyway.
